My approach to counselling begins with a supportive and nurturing environment. I provide options for healing, working with the strengths each client brings. I incorporate art work and body work into the sessions and am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).  EMDR is helpful for difficult issues as it can help you to connect to core issues and release them from the body.  I have also done somatic or body centered training which is also quite helpful.  I am a Certified Yoga Instructor and Yamuna Body Rolling Instructor. and incorporate this nto the counselling when appropriate. 

I have an eclectic style and work with the client to determine what methods or style works best for them. 



As we move through life we are presented with challenges for various reasons.  They may be there to test our faith in ourselves and in our self worth.  They may be there to let us know that now is the right time to release pain or trauma from our bodies and our lives.  Counselling can assist us through these transitional periods so that we might emerge into our next phase of being in the world.
